When I go on hikes around my neighborhood I treat nature like a shopping center, and I am always hunting for a new rock that will match my skin tone, or some dead branches to play with, some good textures to read with my fingers, or to listen to the newest hit single by the rabbits my dogs flesh out of the bushes. My currency is sight, sound, smell, and touch. Sometimes I can stretch the life of the moment out with a photograph. Most importantly I can purchase something everyday without worrying about my wallet, or filling my home with more junk. Have you learned to enjoy time outside with nature?
